It figures Assange would turn out to be another hypocrite about transparency. I always had the impression that he was self-righteous, as opposed to genuinely principled.

Having said it like that, Julian sounds alot like Peta.

Absolutely no difference than when Wikileaks went nuts when their own internal docs were released. Release State diplomatic cables, no sweat. Internal Wikileaks docs see the light of day, HOW DARE THEY!!11!!!!

Hypocrisy, thy name is….

Does anyone get the feeling Julian was the kid none of the other kids ever wanted to play with when younger? He most likely always told everyone what they were doing wrong, how the game should be player after he got first choice and that kind of thing. Just something about him.

Assange’s actions in this incident remind me of the old song, “Backstabbers,” by the O’Jays. Assange appears to be willing to stab anyone in the back who stands in the way of him getting what he wants. Those in this country who are supporting him and Greenwald would do well not to put their trust in anything these two say/do. They’re both shifty characters whose main goal appears to be self-promotion and a desire to manipulate others into doing their bidding.
